Hansem, which held its '2020 F/W Trend Presentation' under the theme 'Hometact Life: New Possibilities in the New Normal Era,' is unveiling 15 new furniture products for the second half of this year across the bedroom, living room, study, and more.

Total home interior specialist Hansem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seung-soo) focused at this trend presentation on how activities that once took place outside the home are now moving indoors amid recent social distancing. 'Hometact,' the keyword of this second-half trend presentation, is a portmanteau of 'Home' and 'contact,' referring to a lifestyle in which everything is connected to the home. Working from home and online classes have become more common, and more people are using their homes as home cafés and home training rooms. Now the home is becoming an essential space for handling everything — not only rest but also work, classes, and hobbies.

In line with this, Hansem has launched furniture that supports the various activities of spending time at home. 'Euro 501 Flat' uses desk and bookshelf modules with unified colors and materials, letting you furnish your home in a variety of ways such as a home café, home bar, or home office.

The 'Euro 503 Neutral White' bed applies 'Temba Board,' characterized by three-dimensional vertical patterns, to the bed head and wall panel, creating a luxurious hotel-like atmosphere. With IoT technology applied, you can turn the lighting on and off or adjust its brightness through the 'Hansem Mall' app, and you can also set a reservation so the lighting turns on automatically at your wake-up time.

As online purchasing has increased, Hansem has also released a variety of storage products that solve organizing concerns. In particular, 'Euro 506 Sketch' lets you choose a module that includes a chest of drawers at the bottom of the built-in wardrobe, so it can be used conveniently without having to buy a separate chest of drawers. In addition, the small lift-type mirror door that opens and closes up and down enhances space efficiency in the bedroom and dressing room.

The new living room furniture products include compact-sized sofas that make small spaces look larger, as well as products in vivid, eye-catching colors such as 'Moss Green' and 'Mustard' that can serve as accents for the space. You can also find a stand-type TV living room cabinet that reflects the latest living room trends, and a large 'Living Dining' table that lets you do various activities in the living room such as dining, working, and hobbies.

A Hansem official said, "We prepared the second-half new products in line with the trend of growing interest in home decorating as people spend more time at home these days," adding, "We hope you will use these new furniture products to turn your home into a multi-purpose space where rest, hobbies, and even work are all possible." The second-half new products will be displayed sequentially at offline stores such as Hansem Design Park and Hansem Interior dealerships starting this month.

▲ The 'Euro 503 Neutral White' bed features a panel that lets you decorate one bedroom wall as an art wall, just like a hotel interior. The 'Temba Board' style, characterized by the vertical patterns emerging as a recent interior trend, is applied to the bed head and panel to add a sense of luxury. You can choose modules of various sizes to fit your home, allowing you to create a cohesive hotel-style interior. The bar lighting and pin lighting on the bed head incorporate an IoT system. Using the 'Hansem Home' app on your smartphone, you can control the lighting's power and brightness, and you can also set a reservation so the lighting turns on at your wake-up time.

▲ The 'Euro 602 Pillow' bed adds a sense of luxury with a head design resembling a pillow and the use of highly durable North American steer hide that offers softness and elasticity. It also features eight color options — including 'Dusty Pink' and 'Cinnamon Orange,' colors not seen in existing beds — that can be chosen to suit your taste and bedroom mood.

▲ The 'Milan 302 Edge' bed is a bed for newlyweds who are troubled by a small bedroom. Its low, slim head design makes the bedroom space look larger, and its natural wood color completes a fresh, sophisticated bedroom interior. The surface uses a real LPM mirror finish that reproduces the soft grain of birch and a texture like real wood. The storage cabinet and nightstand released together can be chosen in soft mint or coral color to add an accent to the bedroom space.

▲ The 'Euro 506 Sketch' built-in wardrobe applies a pull-out drawer door, reflecting the needs of customers who have a built-in wardrobe in the bedroom but separately purchase and use a chest of drawers for organizing. In addition, a compact-sized powder cabinet module, whose mirror door opens and closes in a lift style, draws attention.

▲ The 'Euro 605 Arte' built-in wardrobe reflects the recent trend of mixing materials and colors in furniture to emphasize edges and lines. It is distinguished by its ability to create a luxurious atmosphere, using patterned glass material for the lower part of the door and matte LPM material for the upper part. You can choose between two color combinations: marble pattern with white color, or fabric pattern with brown color.

▲ The 'Euro Loa Dressing Room' is characterized by a matte cream-white color with gold accent handles, and is a product for newlyweds who want to create an overall bright and radiant dressing room. Its compact module configuration allows customized design even in small spaces, and it features modules that can be neatly arranged alongside appliances such as air dressers and dryers.

▲ The 'Milan 307 Campo' sofa is a sofa for newlyweds looking for a mid- to low-priced leather sofa. With a low seat-cushion height of 43 cm and a high-back style design that comfortably supports up to the head, it is characterized by the sense of stability you feel when seated. Unlike existing 4-seater sofas, its two-piece split design has the advantage of making the living room space look larger.

▲ The 'Bach 705 Basto' sofa is a premium sofa that adds luxury by using full-grain leather from Italy's 'CREST' across the entire front and sides, except the back. Its low-profile, low, modern style can make the living room space look more spacious, and it features high-cost finishing processes extending to the leather edges and stitching seams.

▲ The 'Milan 304 Nordic' sofa is also being newly launched in the new colors 'Moss Green' and 'Mustard.' It is expected to offer not only the bright, warm feel of a fabric sofa but also to serve as an accent for the living room space.

▲ 'Euro 504 Fit' is a stand-type living room cabinet, different from existing living room cabinets, and is a product launched in line with the recent trend of placing the TV in the living room on a TV stand. It is also suitable for customers who want to install a wall-mounted TV but live in a rented home or worry about damaging the living room art wall. Its height and rotation can be adjusted.

▲ The 'Milan 304 Blanc' living room cabinet uses achromatic colors that are neither highly saturated nor stimulating, making it possible to create a calm, stable living room atmosphere.

▲ The 'Euro 602 Oslo' dining table reflects the living-dining trend of recently keeping a dining table in the living room and doing various activities there with family, such as working, hobbies, and dining. As people spend longer at home due to working from home and other reasons, the usefulness of a living-dining table that can also be used as a workspace is increasing further. By combining corner-type, straight-type, and bench-type chair modules, it can be configured in more than a dozen module arrangements to suit the size of your home and your taste.

▲ The 'Euro 503 Diago' dining table is Hansem's ceramic dining table line, launched at a reasonable price in a ceramic dining table market that has traditionally been priced high. Produced in China with Italian production equipment, it is characterized by a low price relative to its high quality. Using solid ceramic 12 mm thick and 100% in purity, it boasts far higher quality than other companies' products, which laminate a ceramic top and tempered glass in two layers.
